 When I was in Junior High School, my mother bought me an acoustic guitar. It was my first guitar. I learned some basic guitar chord with it. There is a part called "nut" placed between the neck and the headstock. It is made of white plastic too. The fret of the guitar is mainly made of copper. There is only one sound hole on my guitar and it is located at the end part of the neck. The bridge, where the end part of the strings was attached, is made of wood and is painted in black.

Next, we went to Garuda Wisnu Kencana. There were two gigantic statues of Wisnu and his bird named Garuda. The relief on the rock was also amazing but I did not really know the story on it. At last, we went to one of the biggest bottled tea beverage companies in Bali to do some observations. We learned how tea bottled beverages were manufactured from the first until the last step.

Finally, our study tour in Bali was over and we went back to Blora. Although the trip was so tiring, I felt really happy because I could learn a lot from it and spent the time with my dear friends.

HOW TO MAKE PEMPEK PALEMBANG

Pempek Ingredients:

Fish Cake

• 500 gram flesh of Spanish mackerels, grinded – you can also use other fillet fish such as herring, pangasius

• 1 tbsp white sugar
• 1 tbsp white pepper powder

• 6 cloves of garlic, no need to peel the skin

• Cucumber
• Egg noodle, fried
• Grinded dried shrimp

Pempek preparation:

1. Grind all the ingredients to make fish cake, except sagoo/tapioca flour.
2. Mix them well.
3. Then take 1 tablespoon of fish batter, add about 2-3 tablespoons of sagoo flour, mix and shape pempek as you wish. Set aside and shape the rest of batter until finished.
4. Boil the water using saucepan, and cook the pempek, about 15 minutes. When they are coming up to the surface, mean it cooked.
5. Deep fry the cooked pempek.
6. Make the soup: boil the water with all the ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
7. Then grind the sauce using food grinder or hand mixer, filter.
8. Place the pempek in plate (you can cut into small pieces), add the noodle and then pour with the soup. Garnish with the cucumber. Some people like to add ebi (grinded dried shrimp).

My Camping in Kaliurang

         Last week, I, my best friend Budi, and all of my schoolmates went camping. Before we went there, our teachers divided us into several groups. I, Budi, and other five students were selected as one group, called Hawk group. We prepared all of our needs before departing. 

         Our campsite was in a small town, located in Kaliurang, precisely on the southern of mount Merapi slopes. It wasn’t far from our school. It was amazing place for camping. There was a stream with fresh and clean water. The air was also so cool and refreshing, and most of the land there was covered with short green grasses.

           Our camping activities lasted for two days. Luckily, during our camping time the weather was good so we could do many interesting and challenging outdoor activity. Kiat succes menghadapi Ujian Nasional 2012

1. Berdoalah pada Tuhan

Adalah sombong yang beranggapan bahwa keberhasilan kita semata-mata usaha dan kerja keras kita sendiri tanpa keikutsertaan Sang Pencipta. Untuk itu dengan segala kerendahan diri dan hati di hadapan-Nya, kita panjatkan doa agar diberi kelulusan, kesehatan dan kemudahan dalam menghadapi ujian nanti. Tuhan Maha Tahu dan tentu akan mendengarkan dan mengabulkan doa hamba-hambanya.

2. Hadapilah ujian dengan tenang dan proporsional

Hadapilah ujian ini dengan sikap yang tenang dan proporsional bahwa ujian sebagai sesuatu yang harus dihadapi, dilalui. Sikap tenang akan memungkinkan kita menyusun rencana menentukan strategi dan menjalaninya dengan senang.

3. Bersikaplah proaktif

Proaktif adalah suatu sikap yang beranggapan bahwa kita sendirilah yang menentukan keberhasilan dan kegagalan dalam hidup ini, termasuk dalam menghadapi UAN. Dengan sering kita berlatih maka kita terbiasa dan terlatih, sehingga tidak cemas atau grogi dalam menghadapi soal (ujian).

Belajar kelompok merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat dipakai para siswa untuk berbagi dengan teman yang lain dalam memecahkan soal dan saling menguatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi. Para siswa daripada banyak bermain dan membuang-buang waktu dengan percuma, manfaatkanlah dengan cara belajar berkelompok dengan teman di sekolah atau di sekitar tempat tinggal kita.

Pada umumnya, para siswa kurang menggunakan kemampuan nalarnya dalam belajar, baru sebatas menghafal. Siswa juga masih kurang untuk bertanya, berdialog bahkan berdebat dengan gurunya. Padahal kemampuan bertanya salah satu upaya untuk memperkuat pemahamaman atau pengertian dan keterampilan belajar.

Yakinlah bahwa jika kita lulus maka orang tua kita akan senang dan bangga. Jadikanlah perjuangan menghadapi UAN 2012 sebagai ajang untuk mempersembahkan yang terbaik kepada kedua orang tua kita tercinta. Mohon doa restulah pada orang tua agar kita diberi kemudahan dan kelancaran. Kedua orang tua kita akan dengan senang mendoakan putra-putrinya yang sedang berjuang menghadapi UAN.

Rajin-rajinlah bertanya, karena dengan bertanya kita dapat mengetahui apa yang sebelumnya tidak kita ketahui. Jika ada kata/kalimat yang tidak kita ketahui di dalam buku yang kita pelajari, maka sangat dianjurkan untuk bertanya pada ahlinya, baik itu guru, orang tua, maupun kakak kita. Ketika di sekolah, jika ada penjelasan guru yang tidak kita mengerti maka bertanyalah. Jangan takut bertanya ! Karena kemungkinan masih banyak teman sekelasmu yang juga tidak mengerti penjelasan guru tersebut, hanya saja mereka malu bertanya.
Kalau tidak pernah bertanya, kita tidak akan tahu sampai kapanpun.
Ingat, “Malu bertanya, sesat di jalan”.

10. Motivasi Diri Anda

Motivasilah diri Anda sedini mungkin untuk belajar, karena dengan adanya motivasi dapat meningkatkan keinginan untuk selalu dan terus belajar. Salah satu cara memotivasi diri Anda adalah dengan membuat beberapa afirmasi, seperti “Kalau dia bisa, kenapa saya tidak bisa?”.

9 Tips Menghilangkan Kejenuhan

Kejenuhan bisa melanda siapa saja, hal ini adalah normal adanya bagi manusia yang rutin menjalani aktivitasnya sehari-hari. Jenuh bisa menyebabkan seseorang hilang fokus dalam melaksanakan pekerjaannya dan cenderung menimbulkan efek malas. Hal ini kalau dibiarkan berlarut-larut akan berakibat fatal bagi kelangsungan hidup dan pekerjaanya.

Kejenuhan pasti akan menghinggapi siapa saja, baik itu pekerja, pengusaha atau pun pelajar. Apa yang harus dilakukan untuk menghilangkan kejenuhan itu merupakan jalan terbaik untuk mengatasinya, banyak cara untuk menghilangkan kejenuhan seseorang dalam menjalani aktivitasnya sehari-hari, ada yang mendengarkan musik, main games, jalan-jalan, bernyanyi, memancing, dan ada juga yang tidur.

Menghilangkan rasa jenuh adalah keharusan agar kehidupan kita kembali normal lagi, jenuh adalah suatu hal yang biasa bagi kita manusia.

Lakukanlah hal-hal yang menyenangkan maka dengan demikian semua beban pekerjaan anda akan berkurang, dan jika sudah dirasa nyaman baru mulai kembali aktivitas pekerjaan anda. Yang Anda butuhkan adalah penyegaran dan rileksasi. Dibawah ini adalah 9 kiat-kiat yang bisa Anda ikuti:

1. Sediakan Waktu Untuk Rileks
Daripada memikirkan beban pekerjaan (tapi tidak ada solusinya), lebih baik gunakan waktu Anda yang sedikit itu untuk melakukan relaksasi. Ikuti saja caranya berikut ini: Lemaskan otot-otot tubuh dengan bertumpu pada tangan, lengan, muka, kepala, leher, bahu, dada, lambung dan punggung bawah, lalu terakhir ke daerah kaki. Tiap otot ditegangkan selama 5-7 detik kemudian dikendorkan selama 12-15 detik. Ulangi cara ini hingga 5 kali berturut-turut. Metode relaksasi ini bisa membantu untuk meredakan stres yang Anda alami.

2. Buatlah Manajemen Waktu Yang Baik
Kecerdasan mengatur waktu di kantor sesuai kebutuhan memang sangat diperlukan. Sebab hanya Anda yang tahu kapan waktu untuk bekerja keras dan kapan waktu beristirahat dengan santai. Saat bekerja, tentunya Anda harus berkonsentrasi penuh dengan pekerjaan. Dan saat bersantai, Anda pun harus benar-benar santai. Sehingga waktu Anda tidak habis tersita karena memikirkan pekerjaan.

3. Menata Ulang Ruang Kerja
Anda juga bisa mencegah stres dengan mengatur kembali ruang kerja Anda. Jauhkan meja dari tumpukan kertas atau file. Simpan kertas-kertas Anda dalam map, kotak, atau laci. Jika memungkinkan, pindahkan letak meja Anda menghadap matahari agar Anda dapat bekerja dengan cahaya alami dari luar.

4. Terapi Musik
Musik bisa membantu mengatasi kejenuhan dan stres. Pilihlah musik atau lagu kesukaan Anda. Kemudian dengarkan dan nikmati musik dalam keadaan rileks saat bekerja atau seusai pulang kantor untuk menghilangkan rasa penat. Putarlah musik selama 10-30 menit. Agar lebih rileks, pilih jenis musik yang tidak terlalu keras.

5. Manfaatkan Waktu Makan Siang Untuk “Penyegaran”
Hentikan semua pekerjaan saat jam makan siang tiba. Karena, waktu makan siang merupakan saat yang paling tepat bagi Anda yang telah setengah hari bekerja untuk mengisi perut sambil beristirahat sejenak. Manfaatkan waktu makan siang untuk menyegarkan pikiran dengan berkumpul bersama rekan atau sahabat di kantor. Bicarakan hal-hal ringan untuk mengembalikan kesegaran pikiran Anda. Sehingga saat kembali ke kantor, Anda sudah siap dengan energi dan semangat baru.

6. Berolahraga
Dengan berolahraga secara teratur (seminggu dua kali), Anda bisa melepaskan ketegangan yang kerapkali Anda alami di tempat kerja dan menggantinya dengan suasana rileks dan bugar pada tubuh. Pilihlah satu jenis olahraga yang Anda gemari. Anda bisa melakukannya di saat hari libur atau sepulang dari kantor. Dijamin, setelah badan Anda segar, stres pun perlahan hilang.

7. Manjakan Diri Anda Sejenak
Setelah beban pekerjaan yang menyita waktu, tidak ada salahnya bila Anda memberi waktu untuk memanjakan diri sendiri. Misalnya dengan menikmati pijatan di salah satu spa menggunakan minyak aromaterapi khusus penghilang stres. Bisa juga dikombinasikan dengan minyak esensial untuk memijat otot. Anda bisa melakukannya sendiri di rumah dengan mengubah kamar mandi menjadi sarana relaksasi. Ini yang perlu Anda lakukan:
-Ciptakan suasana relaksasi dengan cahaya temaram atau lilin.
-Mandilah dengan air hangat.
-Pilih satu jenis minyak esensial lalu tambahkan beberapa tetes pada air mandi.
-Dengarkan musik lembut.

8. Selesaikan Masalah Dengan Bos atau Rekan Kerja
Jika Anda memiliki masalah dengan atasan atau dengan rekan sekerja, sebaiknya selesaikanlah segera. Siapa tahu, masalah itu yang selama ini menjadi pangkal penyebab stres Anda. Cobalah mencari jalan keluar dengan cara berdiskusi mengenai kesalahpahaman yang seringkali terjadi sehingga lingkungan kerjapun terasa nyaman dan menyenangkan bagi Anda.

9. Berpikir Positif
Belajarlah untuk selalu berpikir positif dalam menghadapi dan menyikapi segala permasalahan. Misalnya ketika atasan marah-marah pada Anda, bukan berarti ia sentimen atas hasil kerja Anda. Cobalah berpikir bahwa si bos sedang memberi masukan yang berguna bagi perkembangan kinerja Anda di kemudian hari.
